Miss Tessa has been teaching in the Tuscaloosa area for over 15 years. She is originally from Arab,AL where she she trained with Jane Kohl at Kohl Academy of Performing Arts. She found her love of teaching early on and was able to attend Dance Master's Teacher Training School. Miss Tessa has also continued her education at Dance Teacher Summit and Rhee Gold's Dance Teacher Life Conference.

 

 Having trained hundreds of dancers, she has a unique way of making each student feel special.  Her passion is endless and the dedication she has to her dancers is unparalleled.  Students under Miss Tessa’s direction have received some of the highest honors and awards on the regional and national stage. She has a special knack for making dance accessible to dancers of all ages and skills.

 

With a degree from the University of Alabama in Dance Instruction & Studio Management, she is eager to show her love for dance with all aspiring artists in Tuscaloosa.
